Gabriel ObertanZoran Tosic has been at United now for around 9 months now and he has yet to make a real impression with United fans. He has been playing well but hasn't yet done enough to be rewarded with first team football. However, he still possess the talent to become a first team player and with Fergie's record of producing young talent he will have the best chance of doing that in the future.

However, there is a new kid on the blog and his name is Gabriel Obertan. After overcoming his injury he has been played games for reserves and more recently the Carling cup game against Barnsley. He has speed, strength and is considerably taller than Tosic. His recent performances have impressed many fans and the fact he is two years younger than Tosic works in his favour.

Zoran Tosic is happy to bide his time before making his mark at Manchester United.

The January arrival from Partizan Belgrade made a brief appearance against Tottenham in the FA Cup but has been overlooked since, despite impressing in the reserves.

Lee Martin, who has been farmed out on loan on a number of occasions, was preferred to the Serbian on the bench on one occasion but Tosic is relaxed as he appreciates he will probably not be ready to shine until next season.

Tosic is a United fan a heartThere are many reasons that could have persuaded Tosic to come to Old Trafford but as a United fan he needed little persuading to put on the red shirt  of United.

On the wall of his bedroom at his parent's house back in Serbia, Tosic has pinned up a Manchester United flag and scarf on his wall. He told Inside United, "I've been a United fan since I was five. I still have in front of my eyes the Champions Leage final in 1999 when United made that brilliant comeback against Bayern Munich. I liked the Red Devils before that, but that was a decisive moment. I said to myself then: 'You will play in Manchester'".

He also told Serbian newspaper Sportski  Zurnal "I was reasting at home when my girlfriend Dijana called me and told me to turn on the TV. There was news that Adem Ljajic and I would travel to England on 12 December. The first thing that came into my mind was that they would not broadastsomething like that if it wasn't true".
